Our school had successfully organised the event in commemoration with the Brunei Darussalam 30th National Day. The ceremony was held at the multipurpose hall, Sekolah Rendah Perpindahan Kampong Bukit Beruang II, Tutong II Zone last Saturday.The highlight of the event was the police talk entitled "Taklimat Kesalahan-kesalahan Kecil" was delivered by Sarjan Mejar Md Suzaini bin Abd Karim, Public Relation Officer of the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF). The objective was to educate and provide understanding to the public especially among parents, guardians, teachers and young students.
The Chairman of the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) also welcomed parents and guardians while distributing door gifts.
Also in attendance was the Marketing Manager of Suku-suku Hana Soya Drink to promote their recent launched product of Soya drinks with rice juice to the audience.
The ceremony begun with the National Anthem "Allah Peliharakan Sultan", followed by this year's National Oaths lead by the Year 6 students.
Year 6 students lead the recitation of Ayat Kursi, Surah At-Taubah and Doa Sekolah, followed by Selawat Murah Rezeki. The recitation of Doa Selamat was then delivered by Ustaz Shahrun, head religious teacher of SRPKBB II.
The event continues with the talk. It deliver messages to parents, guardians, teachers as well as young students on committing an offense such as bullies, thefts, and others are therefore liable to be sentenced to imprisonment or lashes or paying fine according to the country's laws.
After the talk, our school organised a quiz opened to parents and guardians based on the talk. In addition, there is also another quiz based on the National day. Congratulations to all winners.
A token of appreciation for our invited guest was delivered by Cikgu Hjh Nurul Inani binti Hj Ahmad Kumpoh, head mistress of SRPKBB II.
